Stone Mountain Engagement Session | Kristen & Tyler | Atlanta Wedding Photographer

We met in 2010 our freshmen year at Shorter University. It’s a super small school so everyone instantly knows everyone. Kristen: He was really attractive- a baseball player, and kinda shy but I liked that about him. Tyler: she was beautiful, very outgoing and full of energy. She was super friendly and easy to talk to.

Our sophomore year of college we became super close friends – we would drop anything for each other without even thinking about it and we trusted each other entirely. It was one of those things that we just KNEW we would end up together.

The planning process started mid March after we had gone to look at rings and she fell in love with one, so naturally I had to get it for her. I actually got the call on her birthday that her ring was in and on June 21st we took the hike up Stone Mountain where I dropped to one knee. I was excited more than anything else. We had been talking about getting engaged so I assumed it was going to be soon but I didn’t see it coming that day. We are active people so when he asked if I wanted to hike Stone Mountain I didn’t think anything of it. When we got to the top he asked someone to take our picture and then suddenly he was on one knee! I instantly started crying and of course said yes!

I love how open and more outgoing she has helped me become and that she accepts my weird self! I love the way he treats me, how he cares for me and how he shows me he loves me every single day. He’s the real deal.

Here’s a Sneak Peek from their cool engagement session at Stone Mountain Park.  We look forward to capturing their wedding next year at Ashton Gardens.
